Tajweed Rules

Al-isti'adhah (seeking refuge in Allah) is a sunnah when beginning recitation, and its wording is: «أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم». The basmalah is recited at the beginning of every surah except Surat at-Tawbah. Between two surahs, the reciter has several permissible ways of reciting.
