قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((والله إني لأستغفر الله وأتوب إليه في اليوم أكثر من سبعين مرة)).
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "By Allah, I seek Allah's forgiveness and repent to Him more than seventy times a day."

وقال صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((يا أيها الناس توبوا إلى الله فإني أتوب في اليوم إليه مائة مرة)).
He (peace be upon him) also said: "O people, repent to Allah, for I repent to Him a hundred times a day."

وقال صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((من قال أستغفر الله العظيم الذي لا إله إلا هو الحي القيوم وأتوب إليه، غفر الله له وإن كان فر من الزحف)).
He (peace be upon him) also said: "Whoever says: 'Astaghfirullah al-'Adhim alladhi la ilaha illa Huwa al-Hayyu al-Qayyum wa atubu ilayh' (I seek the forgiveness of Allah the Mighty, besides whom there is no god, the Living, the Sustainer, and I repent to Him), Allah will forgive him even if he had fled from the battlefront."

وقال صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((أقرب ما يكون الرب من العبد في جوف الليل الآخر فإن استطعت أن تكون ممن يذكر الله في تلك الساعة فكن)).
He (peace be upon him) also said: "The nearest that the Lord is to His servant is in the last part of the night; so if you are able to be among those who remember Allah at that time, then be so."

وقال صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((أقرب ما يكون العبد من ربه وهو ساجد فأكثروا الدعاء)).
He (peace be upon him) also said: "The nearest that a servant is to his Lord is when he is prostrating, so make abundant supplication (then)."

He (peace be upon him) also said: "There are times when a veil comes over my heart, and I seek Allah's forgiveness a hundred times a day."
